Delicious and beautiful restaurant! You can tell that it's a labor of love for the Sabella's. We had a wonderful evening at the bar and enjoyed every morsel of the freshly prepared Italian dishes and imported wine from Italy. Do yourself a favor and check Sabella's out! You won't be sorry.

Very impressive. Wife and husband team very nice and professional. Fetacinni and bolagnese was excellent. Short ribs fantastic. Nice addition to Pawleys island restaurants.

The Hamptons have come to Pawleys! Outstanding service! Upscale NY elegance! Best Italian fare around! Culinary genius is in the kitchen for sure! You won't be disappointed!

Only open 5-months. A major improvement over the old JRs. Interior design is bright and upscale. Staff is super friendly and most accommodating. Chef and wife who was my server came by the table a number of times to make sure all was well. Their daughter also stopped by. A true family restaurant where they all chip in. Dining alone I was scouting out the place for a future trip with the whole family. Was impressed and this was more than I anticipated. Simple, clean and true to form. Would have liked to have seen heftier flatware but that is about the only criticism. Food was very good and the service excellent. I opted for the Veal Osso Buco, atop a risotto. Veggies could have been a bit more firm, but the flavor was all there. Wanted to take home a to-go, but I downed the entire meal in one sitting. SaleebScore: Food 8/10; Service 9.8/10; Atmosphere 9/10; Value 8/10; Wine List currently 7/10, but a 9/10 from what the co-owner let me preview. Will be back with la famiglia.

We stumbled upon Sabella's driving up 17. I really wasn't expecting such amazing Italian food in South Carolina (I'm from NY). We had a such a great meal I feel compelled to let everyone know how much we loved Sabella's! Everyone was thrilled with their food. The staff and the owners were equally great. We heard the whole story behind the creation of Sabella's. The space is beautiful as well. If you're in the myrtle beach area, you should definitely check out Sabella's. You won't be disappointed!

Hidden gem in Pawleys! My husband I just happened to see the sign and decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! The staff was so friendly and the owner stopped by to chat. The food was delicious and authentic Italian, but more upscale. The gnocchi and cold antipasto was fabulous. The decor was something out of NYC, very tastefully done. We will be returning soon. Do yourself a favor and check this restaurant out!

Finally, authentic Italian cuisine in Pawleys Island! The service was impeccable, the ambiance was perfect and the food was spectacular. The calamari arrabiata was delicious, not a hint of bitterness in the broccoli rabe, the filet was perfectly tender and the creme brule was divine. We are definitely looking forward to dining here again.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat at the bar. Great glass of wine and apps that hit the spot. I highly recommend the italian egg roll. The broccoli rabe is cooked perfectly. Not bitter. Full of flavor. The calamari was tender and I loved the twist tossed in italian gravy:). Will definitely ride my bike back for more.

Although the service was very nice and accommodating to our party of six, I must say that the menu was overpriced. There weren't a whole lot of traditional menu items (lasagna or Alfredo) but I'm sure you could have requested it. Nice but way too pricey.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
